ABOUT
Mary Benejam-O'Connell is a classically trained artist. She took to art as soon as she was able to hold a pencil. Throughout her childhood, she developed an appreciation for her majestic surroundings. She would often sit in and draw for hours a day honing her skills for her life in art. Years of training and artistic expression made it clear that her life would be centered upon her passion for art. She studied at the Florida School of the Arts for ten years.
Mary is now a professional artist full-time. She has had an art presence in Raleigh and Wake Forest for over 19 years. She presently shows her work at various locations around Raleigh and Wake Forest and is still teaching teaching art classes for the Town of Wake Forest. Mary is also available for consultations and commissions.
She lives in Raleigh, NC with her husband Mike and dogs Mildred and Edward.
